Unlike Becky, Joann is not a licensed real estate agent. Before IRED her only interests in real estate was as a home owner.

A computer programmer/analyst for 14 years, it was Joann's interest in art, history, travel and writing that eventually brought her to IRED. A resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joann met Becky on-line where both were members of the WITS, an e-mail writers group.

Recruited in August, 1995 to manage the then named IRED NEWS site, she became Vice President of IRED.Com, Inc. in April, 1996.In March of 1996, she took over as Editor for the International Section of IRED.

In addition to managing and developing the International section, her responsibilities for the WEB site cover all areas of IREDoutside of the US Directories. She is the Webmaster, programmer, designer, news editor, product reviewer, co-ordinator for the mirror sites in the U.K. and Malaysia, and a contributing writer for IRED.

Joann has authored the popular WEB-BIZ section of IRED, and has appeared as a guest speaker at numerous events, including MIPIM. She is a member of the Netscape Developers Edge, Microsoft's Site Builder Network, and the IWA (International Webmaster's Association)

Debbie is not a real estate agent, she taught elementary education in the public school system for five years. Like many others, she stumbled across IRED and discovered endless possibilities.

She joined IRED in August of 1996. as a reviewer with the main focus of her job being re-reviewing sites which were already listed on IRED, but needed some updating. This quickly turned into a full time position. After a few months or re-reviewing sites, she then began to focus her time and energy on mainly reviewing new links. At the encouragement of Becky, Debbie learned (mostly through self-teaching) about web design and writing html code. Shortly after learning the basics of proper html code, Debbie took over the responsibility of adding all new links to IRED's US directory.

Today, she also, manages the US review staff of IRED, links sites and determines the ratings and the icons which should apply to each site. Debbie also answers any questions viewers may have in regards to their site listings on IRED.

Debbie says working with IRED is always changing and always fun. Every time she turns around Becky and/or Jim has another special project for her to work on. And that's what makes IRED so GREAT-it is always changing, always improving!
