This one is fun! Here's a place where you can find out if there is any money of yours (or a relatives) floating around out there in the huge pool of unclaimed assets.

This neat site has a database that is searchable and contains unclaimed property records from participating states. The service claims to be the only state-sponsored web database to search nationwide for your unclaimed assets. The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (affiliated with the National Association of State Treasures) sponsors this special resource. Because of this sponsorship the service is free.

Go ahead claim a billon or two -- after a while it'll add up to real money! The price is right!

Next time you get a message that tells you that your hard drive is about to be wiped out - or tells you to "forward this message to everyone you know", take a deep breath. Then go to this handy computer virus hoax place that claims to be the industry standard information source for new virus hoaxes and false alerts. You can save a lot of time and reduce frayed nerves here by checking any questionable message either alphabetically or with a handy search box.

If your hoax doesn't involve a computer virus but Ryder trucks loaded with explosives or other scary tales about Halloween terrorism at shopping malls, then check them out at urban legends central.

This neat place is the "Swiss army knife" of lookup tools! With these links you can now find folks by name, address and e-mail. You can also get the names and numbers of all the folks at a given address. You can even check your ancestors! What makes this such a handy resource is its simplicity. It's quick and easy and yet has all the bells and whistles!
